Artists can find inspiration from anywhere, but they have to be ready when they find it! Sometimes artists look for inspiration based on a subject. Other times artists are inspired by medium. There are artists that often want to start with a technique. Artists choose their inspiration. If they are feeling particularly stuck, sometimes artists even create based on prompts.
